Information You Submit
Terms Entered in Search
A name, place, or other term entered in a search box is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Plymouth County Recent Arrests does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's policy governs its receipt and handling of the query.
Messages Sent to Us
If you email or submit a contact message, we retain what you provide as needed to respond. We do not share that correspondence outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Privacy Beyond Our Pages
Links may lead to the Plymouth County Sheriff's roster and records pages, Iowa Courts Online, Iowa Department of Corrections resources, federal locators, and outside search tools. After following a link, the destination's privacy terms control its collection and use of data.
Some advertising partners may use their own systems to observe activity across websites and select interest-based ads. That tracking takes place under the partner's practices, not as data stored directly by this site.
When Information May Be Shared
We do not sell personal information. Data may still be handled by these limited recipients:
- Search partners that process submitted queries
- Analytics providers that measure site use
- Advertising networks that deliver ads
- Law enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order
Reasonable Security Measures
We use standard practices intended to protect information. No website, network, or internet transmission is completely secure, however, so we cannot promise that a breach or unauthorized access will never occur.
